PLEIN AIR PAINTING
The opportunity to paint directly from nature. This is my favorite way of painting landscapes during three of our four seasons. Sometimes it may take only a couple of hours to complete a painting but at times, it can take a couple of days especially with changes in the weather. Often, I will touch up my plein air pieces in the studio unless they were painted during competition.
